Edit Waveform Data

Select the entire waveform or a section to cut, crop, or copy. Then, insert data copied to the Windows clipboard in the graph. Quick selection options and responsive selection lines make editing quick and easy.

File Types

ObserVIEW can import VibrationVIEW field waveform (VFW) and several foreign file types.

  • ObserVIEW project (.obserproj)
  • Text/CSV
  • RPC®
  • RSP
  • UFF
  • WAV

Append Files

Select one or more time waveform files compatible with the opened file and append the data to the end of the current graph.

You can choose the transition/fade between two sections of data. The software calculates and modifies the data to resolve any discontinuity between the end of one section and the beginning of the next.

Transition Options

Transitions allow data to play back without any sudden breaks in the data.

Fade Options

A fade allows data to play back in a repeating loop without sudden breaks when it repeats.

View Data

The main graph displays data as traces and includes a legend box, graph title, axes titles, and axes that correspond with each trace.

Edit Graphs

  • Select a trace type to add to the graph.
  • Change trace color, line pattern, width, and visibility, or remove the trace.
  • Adjust axes properties and trace layout options.

Copy-Paste Traces

The copy-paste command allows you to move data between graphs and software applications. Perform an easy comparison of data from a multitude of applications.

copy paste feature in ObserVIEW

This feature is useful for comparing graph data from different time locations, multiple test results, various test environments, and much more.
