Modal Testing

Perform experimental modal analysis to identify the natural vibration frequencies of a structure and its response to excitation. ObserVIEW calculates an average response for each hit location and generates a smooth transfer function (FRF).

Sine Reduction

Synchronize a vibration control system with a VR I/O unit to increase channel count and/or validate the frequency response with a separate controller. Accurate frequency tracking ensures the identification of resonant frequencies for product development and qualification.

  • Use the COLA output of any controller to configure shaker control with a VR I/O unit
  • Define tracking filters for sine sweep
  • Report results for independent verification of the structure’s response
  • Configure abort limits for all channels or individual ones
