Portable Data Acquisition
Gather vibration field data and perform diagnostics and troubleshooting in the lab with the ObserVR1000 portable data acquisition system. With a compact design and 6+ hour battery life, engineers can record necessary data to a disk or SD card for analysis. Its streamlined interface lets users quickly connect to the device and start/stop recording. They can control the device and review the data stream using the VR Mobile application.
Measurement
The ObserVR1000 portable data acquisition system supports 16 analog input devices such as transducers (acceleration, velocity, or displacement), a microphone, and external conditioners. Its audio input connector supports a headset, a remote I/O connector supports a tachometer, and a GPS connector supports GPS data collection.
Data Analysis
Import up to 50GB of test data to the ObserVIEW analysis and test development software. Engineers can edit and sync data and perform advanced analyses such as FFT, PSD, order, fatigue, and damage analysis. They can calculate values, compare data, develop test profiles, and more.
Why Record Data?
Engineers in industries such as transportation, automotive, aerospace, and packaging use field data recordings throughout the product development cycle for proof-of-concept qualification, design evaluation, and process validation.
- Confirm environmental operating points and design destruct limits
- Act as initial reference to detect anomalies or degradation
- Improve digital twin simulation accuracy
- Enhance root-cause analysis and confidence in design direction
- Establish appropriate test limits and durations
- Generate statistical distributions for reliability and durability
- Generate tests that reflect the operational environment
