Vibration test technologist Ron Rowley and vibration test engineer Joe Sullivan inspect a fuel vapor canister that has just been through a rigorous Key Life Test (KLT) at the Visteon Global Technology Center in Rawsonville, Michigan. The three-axis random vibration KLT was run by Vibration Research Corp.'s new 8500 controller, which was simultaneously running a TEAM Cube (under the canister), using multi-axis PSD data derived from an Arizona Proving Ground truck durability surface called Power Hop Hill. The test was run inside the temperature/climate chamber shown. The controller's monitor shows a screen capture of the actual test.
